McLane’s on Tour

Foster and Lynda McLane grew up in Abbeville and were recently in town for their high school class reunion.  Foster has previously donated artifacts of the Vietnam era to the Military Room at the McGowan, Barksdale, Bundy House. The McLane’s are pictured here touring the house with ACHS President, Bob Speer, who is pointing out many historic interests featured in the museum, which is located on the second floor of the house.

A Wonderful Job

The McGowan-Barksdale-Bundy House, which serves as the Abbeville County Historical Society Headquarters is receiving some tender loving care with a new paint job.  The paint job involves working as high up as five  stories.   The painters are doing a wonderful job.
